My Review

30 days of nights was a film i saw advertised a few weeks ago, kirsty said she wanted to see it, so this weekend we did, and it wasn’t a total waste of money.

Definitely not the best horror / thriller of all time but defiantly better a lot better than most of the films that have been released this year. So far this year i have seen Saw 4, Hostel 2, Captivity and a few other big cinema hits and 30 days of nights would definatly be in the top 3, maybe even the top 2.

The plot outline is kept nice and simple, with no hard to follow twist that leave you confused for hours afterwards and the acting is pretty alright. The make-up artist also did a good job on the vampires The directors were also kind enough to keep in all the gorey bits and yes you do see someones head get chopped up by an axe. If your a fan of gore, guts and blood then this is for you!!

This is defiantly not your every day vampire film, and is well worth watching, even if not now, it would make a good selection in your collection of DVDs.
