Post: But that wouldn’t be a great poem…

I wrote this when I got back from an overexcited post-argument date with my loverboy. It’s kind of silly and sentimental, but here goes:

I’d write that I love you

Ten million times

But that wouldn’t be a great poem

I’d kiss you and touch you

And give you love bites

But that wouldn’t be a great poem

Tell you about tingles

And warm butterflies

And snuggles and kisses

And flirty hi-fives

And with tongue, without tongue

And gross PDAs

And I-can’t-stand-being-away-from-you days

And I’m-so-in-love-that-I’m-in-a daze

And wanna-get-lost-with-you-in-a-maze

But that wouldn’t be a great poem
