Post: Cool Blogs, Cool Blokes

Okay. Remember the disaster of Blog to try? If not, look it up. My CYC (what does that stand for?) has enhanced and re-enhanced herself since I joined. There some really hilarious teen-in-turmoil blogs on the site. If you’re new to the site, I encourage you to read them, comment wisely and laugh out loud, and if you’re a veteran who knows everyone–well, you might find something funny and new.

another mixed-up girl

She seems confident and cool. Her name is Jem. (If you’re reading this, how, oh, how do you make those hearts?)

 I’m not dramatic, I’m Sadrie

The Good Queen herself. Absolutely hilarious and so genius. Her entries and titles are witty and clever. I found “Talking Trash” so laugh out loud funny. Recommended, #1.

Locked Up Child..//

New one, looking good. No abuse involved. I think she’s British. So cool though, but you have to understand smilies and abbreviated text. I’m sure you do.

unKILL me please

As the name implies, the blog is pretty deep. It’s got really teenage stuff in it, stuff I could never admit I was thinking when I was thirteen. She uses a bit of post PG13 language, so beware of that. It’s a good blog. Thought provoking. Say no more, say no more.

Emmah’s Life

Really new, only two posts. Haven’t had much contact with the author yet, but she seems younger in age. I guess she’s got friends who read her blog, cuz she sometimes uses a letter and * instead of a full name.

yo its me=]

Good blog. I would like to see more posts, but okay stuff so far. I’ll read more and update, okay? Again post-PG13 language. A little heavy.

Life

Way to sum things up, huh? It’s cute, it’s chic and it’s so Chanel.

Note to all the new users: Don’t be afraid to be you on the blog and in real life. My CYC helps me say things I could never say, do things I wouldn’t normally do. Seeing things from other people’s point of view is good, even if you disagree (there’s a blog with a homosexual on the site. Can’t find it (!).) And please, please, I really hate those stupid blogs with awesome names that only have that blue layout and the welcome to My CYC thingy. No such thing as a bad post. Write: “Today I ate toast. I peed. I went down the stairs. At school, pizza for lunch. Cold. Dead, like a corpse. Haha.” I don’t care.

Skye’s not the only Breezer!

AND HEY, how come I’m not one of the Blogs from the very beginning.

Luv ya (Old, new, yeller and blue!)

    nice post!!

MY CYC originally stood for MY Cyber Youth Club, the idea for the original site (http://web.archive.org/web/20051125020419/http://www.mycyc.com/) was taken from here > http://www.hants.org.uk/hyb/cyber.html. (well actually mycyc.com was originally a sister site to just-4-teens.com (http://web.archive.org/web/20060219224549/www.just-4-teens.com/)

Since then its just basically grown based on members suggestions and new ideas that i come across.
