Post: Dear You ..X
It’s been 5 years,
And I’m still not over you,
You slipped away,
There was nothing I could do.
I never got to say goodbye,
Or tell you I can’t do this,
Your smile and your laughter,
Is what I’ll miss.
A deadly disease,
Ripped through your soul,
We all knew this
Was something we couldn’t control.
So I’ll hold on tight,
And for you, I’ll pray,
I can only dream,
We’ll meet again someday.

Like it, really do. I can relate, too. I had friend who completely changed, and almost died from his actions. I felt totally helpless, and I still cry sometimes. But it’s nice you remember good qualities. Hold on to that, we can see it in your words.
