Post: Dont Ever Tell - The True Story Or Is It?

I actually finished reading this book a few weeks ago but only just got round to posting about it.

Its another story about child abuse and neglect, and if you thought damaged was a tragic story you will like reading ‘Dont Ever Tell‘, now there has been rumours about the truth about the story told in this book, however if you read it and like me believe it, it is another sad story of how a childs life can be ruined.

If it is true then i aint suprised that (to my knowledge) most of Ireland wants this covered up! whether you believe her or not, it is still a good read and a sad story.

IT was the surprise best-seller on the summer book market - a bleak tale told by a brave survivor of rape and abuse within the infamous Magdalene laundries. But the nuns who ran the institutions have rejected her story and claimed that Kathy O’Beirne - author of Kathy’s Story: A Childhood Hell Inside the Magdalene Laundries - was never a resident. more & more

There are mixed view and opinions on the story, my view is she is not lieing, even someone with great mental problems could not dream up a story like this.

For anyone that has read the book, what are your views?

It also continues here & here.

    I read this book too.
I believed it but when I got nearer to the end, I didn’t think it was possible to have such bad luck.
Once I heard it wasn’t true I threw the book away, I don’t like being lied to. Lol.
