Post: Eh?

I thumb me nose at yea English. I’m just joking, but we are having a great sunny time here. The weather’s hot, the water’s fine, the wind is blowing and Eric’s mine. See? I’m a poet, too. I’m in a jolly good mood, let me tell you. I am having the time of my life, as the song goes. Today we went to the beach, moi et mes amis, we swam and ate forty hotdogs and showed off ourselves in our matching white bikinis.

This redhead guy kept looking at me from the water. He was giving me the so-called eye. I was giggling at my friends, and I guess he thought I was smiling at him, so he came over, and he’s like:

“Hey, there, eh?”

“Yeah. Hey there.” (Why turn a greeting into a question?)

“So, you wanna do something sometime, eh?”

“Uh. No.” Which I realize was quite rude, but the guy was acting freaking smug and smaltzy, he kept wiggling his eyebrows like watched too many old movies. Frankie he was not. I’m babbling, but who cares because I’m having a fantastic time.

Eh?

    You’re lucky.

    Over here it’s been rain, wind, more rain and… Rain.
    But it’s been quite sunny today so w/e.
