My Review

A great film, a great story and very entertaining. At times some things seem to be exaggerated slightly (like elephants that seem as tall as a block of flats) but overall a really good film.

Not only does it give you some history of the Spartans (although the film is basically a fairy-tale, some of the history is there) it also gives you a great action packed war film. Unlike the war films of today thats all about bombs and guns, these fights take place the old fashioned way, with shields, swords and human bodies as the weapons.

As well as the great fight scenes the film also displays a good message, and although he broke the laws of Sparta to fight the war, he did it for all the right reasons!

A great watch for anyone that likes blood, war and corpses Overall rating 9/10.
