A distraught figure
Standing in thedim kitchen
Tears gracefully falling one by one
My mother dies a little more
Her mind filled with disbelief
Not knowing she deserves so much more
but yet she puts herself down at every tunr
my mother dies a little more
every shower she wishes to wash the damage away
The damage she didn't even cause
Every time she goes to bed, she wishes it werea time machine
my mother dies a little more
A broken soul, due to a shattered life
Every tear, sends her into more hatred towards herself
She wishes to give up, but tries to fade into the sunlight
my mother dies a little more.
As my mother dies, i try to be her antidote, her cure
I flash a smile, strike her up in laughter, be her hope
I try to support her, be her keeper, with my help
My mother shall die no more.
