Post: Hodge Podge
Basically I decided to do a big random hodge podge of things right here.
Well known characters/things/places named Skye:
Ione Skye (Say Anything, the music with the guy with the beatbox outside the girl’s window)
Isle of Skye (an island in Scotland)
Skye Instruments (meteorological instruments)
Darkened Skye (video game)
Skye Sweetnam (Canadian singer)
Skye McCole Bartusiak (American child actress)

K-kind
Y-youthful
L-lovely
A-artistic

Blue Skyes
Blue skies
Don’t be blue, Skye
Your eyes are as bright
As any sunrise
Blue skies
Blue eyes
Green eyes
Green guys
Looking at you
Jealous of the zealous arm around you
From your latest flirting
Fling or beau
Blue skies
Blue man group
Only one percent of the group around you
I’m not good at Math
But your crew is huge
All around you
Craning their necks
Drowning their friends
Bulging their eyes
If only to catch
A glimpse
A glance
A glare
Of you, Skye
Skye’s so blue

This poem is by one of my best friends Kady. I don’t really have much news this week, so I figured I’d use my blog as a platform for her work on the off chance that someone’s actually reading this. She’s really talented. She writes stories too, and she made on of these for four of us, she’s great. I’ll have another Hodge Podge–eventually.

Thanks for posting my poem Skye, but you kinda killed it by making the title Blue skies instead of Blue Skye’s.
I guess it adds a bit of deepity! (depth)

Well, I liked Blue Skies better. It’s more literal. I ain’t no smart guy but I likeded it gooder, so i is writed it downed.
