Post: Just For You

I wrote this poem a while back now… It was just after my Grandad died. So it’s not going to be the best in the world as I was like… 12 years old… I can do better now but I thought it should be posted here because it was how I felt at the time.

Dear Grandad,

Grandad, why didn’t God save you?
You worshiped him all your life.
Why did He make you suffer?
Did God think about your wife?

Mum was so upset,
Hiding her feelings inside,
Walking round in a trance,
Do you realise God lied?

Why did He make you go this way?
You loved him with all your might
Yet look what you get in return
You had to put up a fight.

Grandad, I will always love you,
I still feel your touch,
Rest In Peace, Grandad,
I miss you so much.

I’ll miss you forever,
