Post: Love?

How do you know the difference between loving a person of just love the thought of them. I think i love my boyfriend but i do not want to confuse it with just loving him because he is someone i can call when i need someone. How do we really know what love is? How do we know if it is true love or just typical teen/ high school love. Can someone tell me what true love is..
