Our subscription via email and RSS feeds are published by a 3rd party site called FeedBurner.com, i would recommend that you read their privacy policy before joining the subscription service.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal identifiable information on any guests to the site.
If you apply to become a volunteer writer for us, you will be asked your name (nicknames are welcome) and some basic info about yourself for your profile, however you do not have to fill these out.
If you register with us things such as email address and names are stored on a database, only mycyc.com staff have access to these email addresses, unless you also use of feed subscription service that is provided by FeedBurner.com (see notes above)
If you supply any other information such as address or other information when u contact us, it will only be used to reply to your query. This is not stored anywhere or kept on file.
If you voluntarily post your personal information on the site or in the forums, we have no obligation to remove it and once it is posted, the entire public can view it.

Contacting You

When you sign up for this site you will receive regular emails from us, this will never be spam, advertisements or any other forum of unwanted mail. The emails we send will only ever contain information about site news, updates and latest information.
We will never email you asking for personal details such as username or passwords, passwords can only be reset by using the password reset form on the main login page.

Is Your Information Passed On?

Under no circumstances will we ever pass your information to other individuals, third-parties or other websites, unless you are performing illegal activities whilst on mycyc.com.
Other staff members can also view your email address, but general members and guests can only view it, should you choose to post it in public.

Staff Members

Staff members are not pre-screen before being hired, i would like to remind visitors that they should be just as vigilante with staff as they would a stranger on the street.
Staff under no circumstances should ask you for personal information such as passwords, and should only use your email address if you have asked for a reply and left your email address.
