I’m an all rounder. Really, when it comes to music, my iPod is jam packed all the time (which is why I recently upgraded to a black Video. My Nano is black, too.) I like everything but Techno music and Europop/J-Pop. Otherwise I literally love everything.

Country:
Rascall Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Crystal Gayle to name a few favourites. This music has come far since Dolly Parton and her full-grown twins, wink-wink.

Rap/Hip-Hop:
50 Cent says he’ll retire if he doesn’t outsell Kanye West, but unfortunately, it’s not that easy. Hip-hop is a lifestyle, and if 50 can retire that easily, he was frontin’ all along.

Jazz:
From Coltrane to Davis to Gillespie to Jones, jazz is alive and well, thank you very much. Call me Aunt Gertrude, but this is definitely one of my favourite things.

Pop:
Oh, baby, baby pop music is cheesier than cheese, but not all music can be deep and thought-provoking. If you want somebody to know it’s too little, too late, say goodbye (rather rudely) or to try it again, this is the way to go.
