Post: The Best Of March 2008

March has been mayhem for me, what with the arrival of my baby due on March 14th (which as of 22nd still has not arrived). Grayson143 started off the month with a book review about the story of ana. I continued on my wordpress tutorial posting spree by sharing with everyone my list of useful plugins, shortly after i had my rant about IPODs and why i think they are a waste of money.

Katie had a rant about her current life situations, then apologized (congrats on the science result BTW) and then wrote a heart-felt poem to her friend.

I wrote some more blogging tips, one about sidebars, another about wordpress basics, a post about what other people had suggested, more on conditional tags and a first look at wordpress 2.5.

I called out to everyone to help raise awareness of the NSPCC and the be the full stop campaign.

In an attempt to fill-out the other reviews section, i did a quick review of the DS hand held console, along with the review i posted the new DVD rentals for march. I heard some information about an online meeting aimed at teens and adults that work with teens and thought it was worth a plug.

I posted some tips and stuff about some DIGG tools, how to eject your CD/DVD drive from your desktop, and a post about social networks.

The blogging mad sensation can over me again (well i try to stick to what im good at) and made some posts such as How 2 Start Blogging, static blog homepage and how to insert ads between posts. Also for fun i created When Bloggers Make Mistakes.

Firefox 3 beta 4 was released and thought it was worthy of a place on my blog, one of our new volunteers -scandilous- started of her blogging career with a wonderful poem (and then another), Katie shared her easter feelings and i announced that the baby was coming and then that he had arrived.

MIMICryincolor also gave us an insight of whats to come when she joined the staff team and wrote her first post and then followed up with a review of the day after tomorrow.

Sarah Kate joined and introduced herself and also started an advice column (should be interesting). I finished the month with a review of a new web browser called Flock.
